WHY MAKE THE KART LIFT?
Q1 - Why do I want a Diamond Kart lift?
A - Getting the Kart out of the van and to the grid, getting it to a safe working height and rendering it movable when not racing have got to be the most basic actions of Karting. Why then are we still lugging the Kart around in the same way as we were 25 years ago? This is a sport. Sport ought to be enjoyable for all. Can anyone honestly say that waiting for the second person to help and even then struggling is an enjoyable part of the day? This was our thinking, and as soon as we started using the kart lift good things started to happen. Our driver was much happier, his arms were less tired, my back had no pain, my mood was better. With the two of us happy my son went faster and had more fun. To be honest, it is also nice to have an interesting and useful piece of kit to help as well!
Q2 - Why this kart lift?
A - Most other kart lifts have two lifting legs,so you would still have to load and unload manually from a van or trailer. As you can see this kart lift can do this for you. This is also as far as we know the only good quality fully automated Kart lift available for anywhere near its price bracket. We have deliberately kept the cost as low as possible without sacrificing function. All parts are hard wearing and in extensive testing we have ensured strength and durability are paramount. It is also an incredibly cool thing to own!
Q3 - I can get people to help at the track, why would I need this lift?
A - Yes, but how much nicer is it not to have to hang around waiting for help from others. Furthermore, what happens when you get home?
Q4 - What's it like to operate at home or whilst cleaning the kart?
A - How many times have you needed to clean or service your kart at home, only to have to hang around waiting for a friend, wife or son to help lift it up and down for cleaning, then to find that they get bored in 5 minutes. With this lift, my son unloads the kart from the van, cleans the kart all over with a jet wash without my help. Then when he gets bored I service the kart with no need for any other help.
Q5 - Can the kart fall of the lift?
A - No! The way it lifts means the lifting hooks are upside down when the kart is lifted. So is actually much more stable than existing trolley options!
Q6 - Is the kart lift hard to push or steer?
A - No it has rear wheel steering like a fork lift, so it will turn inside it's own space. The wheels are large to make pushing easy and the foam tyres can not deflate. Ever had a trolley run away from you while you are working on the Kart? We have, and it is embarrasing! The Diamond Kart Lift has foot operated 'parking brakes' so that the unit is stable.
Q7 - Is this kart lift hard to operate?
A - No it only has a up and down button, also a rear brake to help with loading. If you can push a 'normal' Kart trolley, you can use a Diamond Kart Lift
Q8 - Will the lift work with any kart?
A - Almost any, indeed we have yet to encounter one that the Diamond Kart lift cannot cope with. We have completed many, many hours of testing. Some 250 national karts and karts with plastic rear bumpers require an adapter piece for the lift. This is a very small percentage of karts but if it applies to you please ask! It is noteworthy that this is, as far as we know, the ONLY kart lift capable of lifting karts equipped fitted with the more popular euro style plastic rear bumpers!
Q9 - I have a step and pavement at my house. If the kart cannot be removed from the lift when I wheel it, would I need to lift the kart and lift up the step?
A - As the main weight is over the back wheels, as you push down on the rear bar the front will lift and push over the step or pavement. You can then easily lift the rear up and over like a childs pram.

Q11 - How much is the kart lift and how much would it cost for delivery?
A - The kart lift is under £500.00, complete and ready to use. Please contact us for delivery costs. Personal collection is welcomed if you happen to be in the south west. You can see your lift working before you buy!
